How much does aquarium or vivarium maintenance cost in Singapore?+
At Chai Chee Safari, an ad-hoc (à la carte) maintenance visit starts from $220. Monthly maintenance plans are our best rate at from $200 per visit, and quarterly plans (four visits a year) start from $210 per visit. Plans are paid upfront for the term, which is how we offer the discounted rates. Final pricing depends on the size, type and location of your system.
What does a maintenance visit include?+
Every visit covers a full health check and clean, trimming, pruning and replanting as needed, water testing and correction, an equipment check, and an honest report on what your build needs.
Do you maintain tanks that Chai Chee Safari didn't build?+
Yes. We maintain aquascapes, aquariums, vivariums, paludariums and terrariums built by any studio, not just our own. Send us a photo on WhatsApp and we'll quote it honestly.
How often should my aquarium or vivarium be maintained?+
Most planted aquariums and active systems do best with monthly maintenance. Well-automated or low-maintenance builds can run on a quarterly schedule, four visits a year. We'll recommend the right rhythm for your specific setup.
Where do you provide maintenance services?+
Island-wide across Singapore: homes, offices, hotels and F&B spaces. Our studio is at 475 Geylang Road, Singapore 389434.
