A single sweep of driftwood crosses the tank from bank to bank and breaks up through the open surface into living fern — a planted river built for a colony of altum angels to drift between the roots.

Altum Angelfish

A tall, wild-type angel (Pterophyllum altum) that moves in groups through the open water — here, a whole colony cruising the length of the crossing.
